Steph began teaching yoga in 2004, becoming accredited as an Iyengar Yoga Teacher.
While teaching yoga classes in Orange and later Millthorpe, Steph also worked as a Diversional Therapist, teaching yoga and art groups in a local mental health facility. Steph has a strong belief in yogas positive impact on peoples mental wellbeing, along with its physical attributes.
Students often can't verbalize why they feel good after practicing yoga, the effect on the nervous system can be profound and long lasting, the effect is cumulative, some of my students have been practicing nearly as long as I have been teaching.
Steph also works with an Occupational Therapist providing yoga groups for children.
